Broome

Broome was a place to shop and get organised for the big camping trip up the Gibb River Road. Alex managed to spend some time in the Broome Hospital emergency ward thanks to an impressively manky ear. Zoe managed to spend some time getting covid swabbed thanks to a flare of her asthma. Ed managed to spend an inordinate amount of time with Byron's help trying but failing to fix the solar panels for our camper van. But we did find time for Broome's rather spectacular beach.

An activity which we all enjoyed and the children thought was fantastic was the camel ride on the beach, Kerry arranged this as a very generous goodbye present when we departed Maningrida and what a wonderful treat for us all!

We squeezed in a couple of drinks too...
